Whenever Taylor’s father played her the timeless “Rumours” album crafted by Fleetwood Mac, she always felt a sense of belonging. The mystical and mysterious musical creations of Stevie Nicks paved the way for Taylor to find her place in the world. Unabashedly herself—Nicks became a figure she could look up to in style, attitude, and philosophy. Now Taylor twirls her scarves, cranks up the volume, and toils to uncover all of the possibilities music from decades before her to today bring to listeners around the world. Music connects, reconciles, and aggravates, and, through Together Outrageously, Taylor works to cultivate that energy into her writing.
